This work follows established manufacturer guidelines and safety standards set by the Ada County Sheriff’s Office. The position requires an Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) G1 certification. Receive, search, book, photograph and secure arrested persons. Provide a safe, clean environment and dispense medication as required by a physician. Log and document monies, personal property, arrest files, mail, phone calls, and security checks. Provide security for inmates and personnel, as well as the courtroom. Supervise preparation of meals, duties of trustees, cleaning, work release, and visiting. Transport inmates to medical destinations, other correctional facilities, and transfers to other agencies.
