The Clark County 9-1-1 Center provides call-taking and dispatch services to the Sheriff's Office and one Fire/EMS agencies, answer emergency and non-emergency calls for police, fire and medical services, obtain and document pertinent information pertaining to those calls for service, provide pre-arrival instructions, determine types of assistance needed and dispatch emergency services personnel, monitor and document all emergency personnel location and activities at all times, coordinate and document responses from outside agencies, process and enter all reports into the National Crime Information Center and monitor the detention center.
