The Chief Investigator is the senior sworn law enforcement officer in the Idaho Office of the Attorney General (OAG), with supervisory authority over all sworn investigators and law enforcement support personnel across the OAG's investigative units. The City of Hailey Police Department has an opening for the position of Patrol Officer and/or School Resource Officer. This is a full-time position with three 12-hour & four 11-hour shifts or eight 10-hour shifts per 2-week pay periods. Prior law enforcement experience is encouraged to come in as a lateral and at a higher starting wage, but not required. If selected to join our team with no previous experience, we will provide extensive on-the-job training and send you to the academy while you are a paid employee. Starting patrol pay is $72,280/yr ($34.75/hr), and beginning wage can start much higher DOE with overtime and compensatory opportunities available.
